Core Knowledge Foundation Announces Results of Three-Year Pilot Program in New York City Public Schools
The Core Knowledge Foundation has released the results of its ongoing pilot test of the Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) program in ten (10) New York City schools. The results include the dissemination of data on the program gathered by the Research and Policy Group of the New York City Department of Education.
Core Knowledge and Common Core State Standards
To date, 46 states have adopted the Common Core State Standards. The winter 2010 edition of the American Educator is dedicated to "How a Common Core Curriculum Could Make Our Education System Run Like Clockwork."
